Committees

SDJC Full Committee

The full South Downs Joint Committee consists of 46 members for County, City, Borough and District Councils within the South Downs, together with 15 members appointed by Natural England.
It has an independent Chairman, Charles Anson. The committee meet four times per year and as the principle committee it makes the key strategic decisions.

SDJC Executive Committee

The Executive Committee is reponsible for steering the work of the SDJC and assisting with executive decision making. The Executive Committee also meets four times per year.

SDJC Planning Committee

The Planning Committee is responsible for commenting on planning policy and planning applications within the South Downs. The Planning Committee meets on a monthly basis.
