Community Conservation Groups in the South Downs
There are many local conservation groups across the South Downs doing important work to protect and enhance the landscape and wildlife of the area. Many of these groups are listed on these pages.
Want to get involved?
If you are interested in getting involved with one of the groups, most are looking for volunteers for one-off workdays or on a regular basis to help with their work. Please contact them directly.

Most groups have chosen some subjects where they have experience or expertise in a section entitled “we are happy to talk to another group about”. If your community group is interested in one of these subjects please contact the relevant group from any of the areas of the South Downs. Most af the topics are relevant to any group in any region so it's worth checking all the groups in all areas to see what they have to offer.
